KOCHI: Two young engineering graduates have left their jobs in high-paying IT companies and embarked on the great streams of a dedicated life. Sister Anju Ross and Sister Tisa Manipad came to the monastic life as members of the Saints’ Society of Worship (SABS). The monastic reception and first vows were held at the SABS Provincial House in Kalamassery last week.

Sister Anju is the youngest daughter of August and Annis of Perumbavoor Vallam Chakkungal. His father is a farmer. His sister’s marriage is over. Tisa is the daughter of Udayanapuram Manipadam Varghese and Renee. Her father Varghese is an assistant manager in a private company in Kochi. CA’s only sister is married.

Sister Anjou and Sister Tisa made the solemn promise to three other nuns in the service of Archbishop Mar Antony Carrillo. SABS provincial Superior Sister Annie Mappilaparambil said that both of them have entered into a dedicated life in engineering.
