At the end of the Holy Mass celebrated in the presence of millions of faithful, in Bogota on 7th September, 2017, Holy Father Pope Francis was given a good night and goodbye display of fireworks from the city that sees him depart for Villavicencio on day 3 of his apostolic journey to Colombia. His Holiness Pope Francis was greeted by a crowd of singing faithful and a group of children and teenagers with mental disabilities waiting for a word and the comforting touch of the man who never fails to uphold their rights and their human dignity.
As reported by en.radiovaticana.va, Holy Father Pope Francis remarked that “Vulnerability is the essence of the human person and we are all vulnerable except for the Lord himself.” The presence of His Holiness Pope Francis made the aura to be absolutely magical and the faithful comforted themselves in his presence.
Holy Father Pope Francis is expected to visit the cities of Villavicencio, Medellin and Cartagena from where he will depart on Sunday, 10th September, 2017.
