The National seminar of the CBCI- OSC Secretaries and Diocesan Communication Directors has successfully began on 12th March, 2019, in Varanasi and will be concluded on 15th March, 2019.The main theme of the meeting is “Reinvent Reconnect Reach out” and also the focus will be to light the rays on “Fake News v/s Good News, Unity in Diversity for a Mission of Mercy and Witness”.
The inaugural session began on 12th March by 11:00 am with the lighting of the lamp and keynote speeches from the dignitaries. The seminar was inaugurated by Most Rev. Eugene Joseph, Bishop of Varanasi, under the presence of His Excellency Bishop Theodore Mascarenhas SFX, CBCI Secretary General, Most Rev. Sebastian Kallupura, CBCI OSC Member Bishop, Most Rev. Poola Antony, CBCI OSC Member Bishop.
Rev. Fr. Victor Vijay Lobo explained about PMO AND PSPF Funds and how to receive and benefit from them. Each Regional Secretary presented their regional reports respectively on the first day of the seminar.
