Pathanamthitta: The Women’s Commission has registered a case against YouTuber Samuel Koodal for releasing a video insulting the nuns who support and shade the lives of many. Samuel, a native of Koodal, Pathanamthitta, has been booked on a YouTube channel and on Facebook for allegedly insulting and insulting nuns and priests. So far 139 complaints have been received against him from various districts of Kerala. The content of all complaints is the same. This is the first time so many complaints have been lodged against a woman before the Women’s Commission.
The complaint will be considered by a committee of the Women’s Commission, which convenes on the fifth of this month. The complainants want action to be taken against Vijay P Nair as well. In the last one month, nuns and monks in Kerala have lodged several complaints with the Women’s Commission and various police stations against Samuel Koodal, who regularly spread false propaganda and insults against Christians, the Catholic Church and especially monks. They decided to move legally in a situation where millions of people are being misled by the regular spread of false news and slanderous stories about monastic communities.
