LONDON: The number of Britons praying in the days of the coronavirus virus has risen, a survey has revealed. Tearfund, a Christian charity, surveyed around 2,000 Britons, according to a survey. At least 25% of adults have attended prayers online or on television only since the start of the lockdown. The findings of the survey confirm that people are turning to prayer in order to overcome this unexpected crisis. One in twenty people in the UK has begun to pray anew after the Corona expansion began.
Anglican Church figures show that the number of people attending their online and television religious ceremonies has increased tremendously. Within 48 hours of the start of the prayer hotline, about 6,000 people called for prayer support, according to the church’s leadership. The number of people participating in other congregations’ online prayers has also increased. More than a third of 18-34-year-olds have participated in online and television services.
About 20 percent of those who attended prayers during the Coronation were people who had not yet attended church. 53% prayed for the safety of their families. Other figures include 34% for friends and 24% for gratitude to God. Many people have prayed for the people involved in the Kovid 19 rescue mission and for other countries. The number of prayers in the United States has shown an increase, according to various figures released over the past few days.
