His Excellency Bishop Mar Madathikandathil of Kothamangalam Diocese while addressing the young faithful gathered for celebrating the year of Youth at Kothamangalam Cathedral conveyed the importance of growing up in Godly freedom amid the increasing religious persecutions in the country. The event also celebrated KCYM pravarthanvarsham and its activity plan was launched at the event by handing it over to Kothamangalam Forane President Akhil Antony by Cathedral Vicar Fr. Mathews Maliyekkal.
The event was held under the guidance of Diocese President Cyril Athikkal. KCYM State President Emmanuel Michael, Treasurer Tom Chakkalakunnel, Jesus Youth State Chaplin Fr. Joseph Ezhumayil, KCYM Diocesan Director Fr. Sebastian Kanimattathil, addressed the gathering.
