New Delhi: The 56th Assembly of the Indian Catholic Press Association (ICPA) and the 25th National Convention of Journalists will be held in Delhi on February 29 and March 1. The Vatican ambassador to India, Archbishop Dr. Jambastista Dwikwatro will inaugurate te event. The central theme of the event is ‘Media Work Today: The Dominance of Pragmatism over Principles’. The 25 honorees will also be honored in the print media industry in Delhi.
Deepika Associate Editor and Delhi Bureau Chief George Kallivayalil, John Dayal, Jaswant Kaur, Jose Kavi, Syed Jarsumal, Asha Khosa, Jomi Thomas, Ajju Grover, and Bijay Kumar Minj are to be honored. Archbishop of Delhi Dr. Anil Koto, Chief Guest, Bishop of Baraipur and Chairman of CBCI Commission on Social Media, Salvador Lombo will also deliver blessing speeches. Former Supreme Court judge Kurian Joseph will present the awards.
