Salvador: Archbishop Emeritus Dome Aldo de Silo, 19, former president of the Archdiocese of Paraiba, Brazil, has died of Covid infection. He was seventy years old. Earlier, he had been admitted to a private hospital in Fortaleza following cancer. The cause of death later became apparent to Covid. Brazilian media reports that they are testing again to confirm that he was infected. From 2004 to 2016, he led the Pariba Archdiocese. Funeral services will be held at the Noosa Senora Cathedral Basilica Church, with no public participation.
