Missionary activities are far fledged. It requires missionaries to be away from home and serve in the midst of an unaccepting hostile environment. With negativity and an aura of danger, every missionary is in threat of life at all moments of his missionary life. It takes great courage and bravery to be a missionary.
In the world where helping hands are cut off brutally, missionaries still choose to be one of their own kind. This is nothing but the holy spirit invoked in them by God. The fire of this spirit energizes them to move ahead in all dangerous and diabolic situations.
Let us pray for the priests, religious and lay missionaries who have to endure the resentment and unacceptability of locals in mission areas. Let us surrender their life to God’s hands and pray for their life, soul and eternity.
