London: Idukki, Kattapana resident, Fr. George Puthoor skydives yet again for a noble cause. The physically challenged priest had previously conducted a skydiving routine in order to raise funds for cancer patients. After undergoing tremendous and physically stressful training sessions, Rev. Fr. George Puthoor successfully completed the endeavor for a UK based organization called, Malayali Charitable Society. He dived into the sky from the height of 1500 feet. The dive was intended to generate funds for the students of nursing colleges.
Through this skydiving routine, Rev. Fr. George Puthoor and his team managed to raise 40 lakh rupees for around a hundred nursing students. The dive was previously scheduled on 28 September, but had to be postponed due to unfavorable climatic conditions. Along with him, Malayalam cine actor Kala Bhavan Dileep, a nurse, and student Joel Manoj also performed the skydive.
