The half-yearly examinations of the catechism students was held on 29th September 2019. The students from the Pre-communion section to Confirmation section diligently appeared for the written examinations, which marked the conclusion of the first semester of the Catechetical year.
Students were allowed to appear for the examinations in their respective parishes. Unlike previous years, this year onwards the Department of Catechism had deployed respective catechism class teachers to set the question papers, which was formerly centralized. With few changes in the paper pattern, the catechism examinations went smoothly in all catechism units. The renewed examination system was highly appreciated and welcomed by the students and parents.
As part of the change in the system, the youth section would have a consolidated examination at the end of the year, that does not converge with their academic board exams.
