Holy  Father  Pope  Francis ,  while  addressing  the  faithful  gathered  in  St.  Peter’s  Square,  Rome,   conveyed  the  significance  of  having  faith  in  the  Lord  Almighty  in  times  of  troubles  and  struggles  in  life.  His  Holiness  reminded  the  gatherings  about  overcoming  all  the  difficult  circumstances  in  one’s  life  by  having  sheltered  himself  under  the  wings of  Jesus  Christ.

As  reported  by  the  Catholic  News  Agency,  His  Holiness  reflected  on  the  day’s  Gospel  reading  from  the  book  of  Matthew  : “Come  to  me,  all  you  who  labor  and  are  burdened,  and  I  will  give  you  rest”  and  he  stressed  that,  “Jesus   knows  how  hard  life  can  be,  But  at  those  moments  His  invitation  is  “Come.”   It  can  be  easy  to  be  tempted  to  turn  in  on  ourselves  when  things  are  going  badly  but  Jesus  wants  to  pull  us  out  of  his  despairing  quicksand  through  a  loving  relationship.”

Holy  Father  concluded  by  exhorting  that  “Jesus  does  not  take  the  Cross  away  from   us,  rather  He  carries  it  with  us.”  , as  reported  by  Catholic  News  Agency.
