The marking of the 40th day into the Lenten period, Mahatheerthadanam is to be held on Friday, 12 April 2019. It is an initiative undertaken by Kalyan Eparchy youth (KEY). It will take place at Mother of Victory Church, Tikujiniwadi, Thane at 6.30pm onwards.
KEY invites everyone to partake in the passion of our Lord Jesus, to walk together in this Holy Season of Lent, as a symbol of offering and dedicating the present social issues of our country, especially the drug abuse prevalent amongst the youth.
Mahatheerthadanam, the pilgrimage will come to halt on 13th April at 7.30am at St Thomas Cathedral Church, Kalyan West, with novena and concluding prayer. The Lenten season is a reminder to rekindle your spirit and soul, to the call of Christ.
