Bengaluru: Mar Sebastian Adayanthrath has been appointed as the new bishop of Mandya. The ordination ceremony took place in an auditorium at the Christ, School, Dharmaram. Mar Adayanthrath was ordained bishop by his Lordship Mar George Alenchery, the Major Archbishop of Syro Malabar Church. Diocese of Mandya official, Msgr. Mathew Koyikkara presented the welcome address, while the Chancellor of the Eparchy, Rev. Fr. Jomon Kollenchery read the official appointment letter.
Following the declaration, Archbishop Mar George Allenchery handed over the official documents to His Excellency Bishop Mar Thomas Sebastian Adayanthrath. Further, the former presented his presidential address on the occasion.
