The Diocese of Pala expressed their solidarity with the people in Kerala by contributing 50 lakhs to the relief operations for the victims of the unprecedented floods caused by torrential rains in the southern state of Kerala. His Excellency Bishop Joseph Kallarangattu of Pala Diocese handed over the cheque to the honorable chief minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan.
Many other churches in Kerala have also come up to contribute a good amount for rebuilding Kerala and to regain their hope. Kerala Catholic Bishops’ Council extended their helping hands to the people in Kerala by contributing 1 crore to CM Relief Fund Donation.
