Vatican City: Pope Francis has called on families to pray in the month of May, dedicated to the Holy Virgin Mary. The pope’s address was in a letter published by the Vatican yesterday. Reminding us of the tradition of praying in our families, the pope said that if we meditate on the face of Christ with the heart of Mary, it will help us to be more united in the spiritual family and survive the trials of today.
The Pope also prays for mercy on the world that has been seized by the coronary pestilence. The letter also prays for those who are saddened by their loved ones who have died, to seek consolation, to enlighten the intelligence of scientists to find the right solutions to the disease, and to help administrators to provide for people in times of crisis. The pope also called on the people to pray together in groups or in accordance with the circumstances.
The Pope’s letter ends with a prayer for everyone, especially for those who are suffering, and for remembering me in your prayers.
