Thrissur: The Archdiocese of Thrissur handed over 101 bags of rice to the community kitchen. A lorry rice was handed over by Archbishop Mar Andrews Lower and auxiliary Mar Tony Neelankao. The function was held at St. Thomas School, Thoppu, Thrissur. Moideen, V.S. Sunil Kumar received the rice. The archbishop said that charitable services are being done at local level, in the leadership of parishioners, family groups and in the charitable cause of the diocesan charitable movement. He urged all to meet the government’s standards for preventing the spread of the disease.
The hospital, which was initially promised to be sent to the state government to monitor the spread of Kovid-19, is the Jubilee Mission Medical College of the Archdiocese of Thrissur.
