BENGALURU: The Archdiocese of Bengaluru today celebrates the Day of Prayer as a reminder of the insults and contempt inflicted on the Catholic Church on the basis of Catholic faith. In all parishes and institutions under the Archdiocese, indoctrination is conducted for 12 hours. The Archbishop Archbishop Machado appealed to the believers to pray for a solution to the Eucharist and to pray for the persecuted Christians in various parts of the world today.
An unidentified assailant attacked the shrine early Wednesday morning, January 22, and attacked the church. Zachary punched and threw the attacker into the air.
